How to add an EPG Source in HawkTV & manually assign channels.
1) Add the New EPG Source
- Open HawkTV.
- Long-press the Select button on your remote to open the side menu.
- Go to Settings > EPG.
- Select EPG sources > Add source.
- Enter the URL exactly as provided: https://epg.iptv.cat/epg.xml
- Give it a name like Backup EPG, then click Done.
2) Update the EPG Data
- Go back to Settings > EPG.
- Select Update EPG.
- Wait for the update to complete.
- If it shows 0 channels, double-check the URL for typos (EPG URLs are case-sensitive).
3) Assign the EPG to Your Playlist
- Go to Settings > Playlists.
- Select your IPTV playlist.
- Scroll down to EPG sources.
- Make sure your new Backup EPG is turned ON.
4) Manually Assign Channels (If Needed)
- Go to the TV Guide.
- Highlight a channel with no guide data and long-press Select.
- Choose Assign EPG source.
- Browse or search for the correct channel from the EPG list.
- Select it, and the guide data should populate instantly.
